| 2001 | (Ruth) Barr, Erin | Feb 5, 2009 at 07:29:49 | Hi everyone! It's great to hear about how everyone is doing these days. As you can see by the name, I bit the bullet and married that crazy David Barr. We were married on August 21st, 2004 and have a house in Davison. We welcomed our first child, Jacob, on April 6th, 2007 and our second child, Nathan, two months before he was due on August 3rd, 2008. I love being a Mommy!!! I finished my BA in Secondary Education at U of M - Flint in December 2006 (while becoming very pregnant) after completing my student teaching at Flint Northern High School. It wasn't even close to being as scary as I thought it was going to be. I had a great group of seniors and juniors. I am no longer subbing for Lapeer but am now a stay at home Mom...for the time being. I see David still hasn't stopped by to update so I'll add one for him. He graduated in June 2005 from U of M - Flint with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Marketing. He recently changed jobs, and is now working for Schwan's Food Company. He still has hopes of finding a job in his field, but hasn't had any luck. Hope to continue to see how everyone is doing and congrats to everyone on their marriages and babies. I wish you all the best in all that you do. -Bye- ***If you'd like to catch up, you can visit my myspace page or my facebook page. Hope to hear from you.*** |

Joe and I will be having our first child sometime in late November (27th is projected due date)! We are both very excited and are looking forward to this new chapter in our lives. |
| 2001 | Burtch, Joe | Jan 2, 2008 at 09:16:27 | A lot has happened since my last post in 2005. Kim and I are now proud parents of our first child, Ashley (born Nov. 20). I finished my Master's degree in electrical and computer engineering at Oakland University a couple weeks ago (along with my good ole buddy Will Sommerville). Aside from those two major life events, work has still been interesting. I've been to Mexico and Germany a few times now each in the past couple years. So I've got to see some more of the world. Take care all. |

I am currently attending the University of Michigan- Flint, and pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Someday I hope to be a child psychologist. Scary thought, huh? :) In case you are all wondering that REALLY know me.. Yes, me and Miss Sarah Rhodes are still best friends. I talk to her about 20 times a day. No, I never married that TJ Gleason kid... we are still friends though... I am currently back living with my parents temporarily, until I get offered a permanent job here at GM Milford Proving Grounds. I am in a new relationship with a boy that actually graduated from Lapeer East in 2002, and things seem to be going well. I almost got married once now. And I see that most of my friends from high school either are married, having/has kids, or both. Congrats to you all! Anyone that is interested, stop by on my myspace page (home page) that is listed above, and drop me a line! Til then, take care!! |

| 2001 | Mayfield, Brandon | Jan 14, 2006 at 12:56:47 | Well lets see since graduation i took a year off to get into trouble, then i started working for Dertoit Edison in overhead lines construction, and now im a lineman. I spent the end of the summer restoring power in Mississippi, Louisianna, Texas, and Florida. We worked 16 hrs a day 7 days a week with breaks in between hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma. It was fun, hot, and everything down there bites, literaly. FYI it usually takes about 3 weeks after a hurricane hits to get main power back to most of the people. Other than that life is very good. I am currently taking the winter off to have fun and go snowboarding. Thanx for the 40 degree rain Michigan. I dont really talk to anyone from west, but if u wanna hit me up don't be afraid email me or hit my "myspace". http://www.myspace.com/brandonb18c |

The pay is great but i couldn't make a career out of it. Well, im out. Peace! |

I moved to Muncie, Indiana right after I turned 21. Not doing the college thing any more (after spending time at Mott), but I might go back next semester to Ivy Tech State College. I'm still cooking like I did all through high school. I learned who ever said there was more than corn in Indiana was lying but it is nice down here and I'm not sure when I'll move back to Michigan. Hope everyone else is having fun. KIT! |

| 2001 | (Gilbert) Peters, Jennifer | Apr 23, 2009 at 13:22:50 | Hello everyone! A lot has happened since West... I graduated from CMU in December 2004, and Aaron and I were married on July 16, 2005 =). We have two girls. Chloe is almost 3, and Emily is 15 months. They are such a blessing, but life has presented us with many challenges with Emily, who has asthma and is allergic to everything under the sun, which has drastically changed how we live. Thank GOD for nursing...changing my diet to keep my milk safe for Emily has SUCKED, but as we are learning the extent of her allergies -so far: dairy, wheat, eggs, soy, peanuts, nuts, corn, bananas, apples- at least I don't have to worry about malnutrition. (Ps. I am now an LLL leader if anyone needs help in that area, lol). I am loving being a stay-at-home mom. Aaron is working at a software company in Southfield heading the testing/QA department, and we just built a house in Fowlerville that we hope to be able to move into in the next couple of weeks! |
| 2001 | Peters, Aaron | 3/31/2003 at 4:51:26 AM | Howdy all. I'm up at Ferris State University majoring in CIS (which is basically a programmer with potential) and a Spanish minor. I'm taking a boatload of credits, 21, and working 22 hours a week next semester. Everyone keeps telling me I'm insane...so what? Jen and I are happily engaged. I'm hoping to graditate in December of 2004 and get a well-paying job to support Jen and our future family. We're planning to get married the summer after I graditate (July 16, 2005...roughly). I'm back in Lapeer every once in a while. And I have a weblog at http://www.xanga.com/brothafromanothamotha come check it out. See some of y'all later! |

| 2001 | Rhodes, Sarah | Oct 19, 2007 at 10:46:20 | Well, my friend George was just demonstrating how easy it would be for a person to stalk me, and, thanks to Michelle Henderson up there, it's pretty simple, ha ha. I've been up to the same old blah blah for the past few years; school, work, and having one failing relationship after another...but hey. I'm young. And I love me some fellas. The goal is to write the next great American novel and to become either a professor of English or Anthropology at a university. And I'm terribly interested in Linguistics, so perhaps I'll explore that avenue, as well. I was Assistant Editor of The Uncommon Sense in Flint briefly and have contributed articles here and there. I just...like to write. It just...doesn't pay the bills. Oh, I won't go on and on. If you'd like more, meet me on MySpace (my humble home-away-from-home). I miss some of you. |
