I don't really know what made me think to wander to this page, but as long as I'm here I'll give you a little update. I graduated from Kettering University in the summer of 2004 with my Bachelors of Science in Management among other things and have taken up a career in international business. I am currently a Special Trades Program Analyst for JPMorgan Chase Vastera in Southfield. I'm basically a consultant for General Electric analysing their cost avoidance opportunities through the NAFTA, US-Australia, US-Israel, and US-Chile Free Trade Agreements. It's fun in a crazy, legal, keeps-me-on-my-toes kinda way! I also got married in August of this year to the love of my life Rickey Aaron, Lapeer West Class of 2001. We're settling in to the Auburn Hills/Bloomfield Township area and scheming about lavish vacations and early retirement! No kids, but most of you that I still talk to have been popping them out (or scheming about it) all summer.. Really to sum it up I'm successfully living the American dream and absolutely loving it! I hope this finds all of you just as happy!!

Don't do much I suppose except go to the library, play some ball, and try to have a good time every once in a while. Not many peeps do this alumni thing but heres my number for those that do 313 478 2991

I've checked this out a couple times since high school, but never got around to registering myself. I graduated from Hope College in May 2004 and came to New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico (and yes, New Mexico is in the United States), for an MFA program in creative writing, meaning I write lots of poetry and teach English composition to college freshman. They are surprisingly not that different from high school kids. It's actually cool that I get paid to do this. I am getting married in May. Quint is originally from Maryland, but has been in NM several years now, was in the Air Force and now is a realtor. I have one more year of my grad program, but we love it here--the desert and the mountains are beautiful, the weather is warm, the pace of life is laid-back, and the cost of living is low--so this is probably where we'll be for a while.

I am married to Autumn Gassel, who you may remember I was obsessed with in high school. Currently a reporter for the LA View in Lapeer. Autumn and I are trying to wade through the paperwork and waiting period to join the Peace Corps, and to answer the most common questions 1)We do not get to pick where we go 2)Yes, we will be serving together in the same place and 3)I have no idea when we'll leave. After that we're planning on moving to Seattle. I'm sorry I was such a jerk in high school. A lot of you were pretty cool to me anyway, so thanks. I infrequently hang out with Justin and Ross Maiers and Eric Touchette, but haven't spoken to Pete Deyo since my wedding.

Hey! Its kinda nice to read up on everyone once in a while. As you see, I am now married and am no longer Autumn Gas-hole, sadly. Jeremiah Britt (You may remember him, wonderful, charming guy....) and I got married in November 2004 and are now living in Maryland about 20 minutes south of Washington DC. The Peace Corps thing was put on hold so that we could live in DC for a while. I am currently teaching 7th grade language arts and Jeremiah is temping. Life is good. We just had our first anniversary and spent it in NYC. Hope everything is wonderful for everybody, and I would love to hear from you!

Wow its actually been a while since I've updated this yeah me lol!! Oh while I'm thinking of it Jeremy it does blow the mind that there's a khols even for those of us who stil sadly live here. Ok hmmm whats up with Aimee... I am not married and I do not have kids because I refused to follow in what I call the Lapeer West curse where you have kids by 19 and married by 20 divorced by 21. Yeah couldn't hang with that one. So here I am fairly unaccomplished in life being 25 years old. I have 4 credits that are all that stand in my way to get that BSW but I keep getting distracted by shiny things and good smelling boys. If it weren't for my parents I wouldn't even have a job right now lol they co own a bar in Lapeer and I am the manager (which for any of you who have seen me since high school know is not a good idea, me being in charge of liquour). I live with April and her husband (come on who didn't see me as the crazy cat lady and still having April take care of me?) They have a baby who will be here anyday now and I couldn't be more excited to get to be the favorite aunt.... Anyway life is good! and I hope all of yours are too

Well, let's see. I'm STILL in Lapeer. I'm STILL hanging with Amanda and Toni (some things just never change, do they?). Hmm. College? Nope. Haven't made it there yet, though I have been thinking about it a lot. Any of you who are still local in Lapeer probably read about my husband in the paper this past January. If not and you want the scoop, drop me a line, I'll fill you in. Other than that... marriage is a situation that can be remedied and probably will be in my case. I'm enjoying being seperated and almost single way too much to go back. But on a less serious note, I am working three jobs, partying a lot, and I've got my own little place in Lapeer that I'm quite proud of. I party and hang at Calvellis in Lapeer (I also host karaoke on Saturday nights!!!), and other than that... not too much. If you ever want to party or drink a beer, drop in and you'll usually find me or Toni or Amanda or all three of us. Anyway... hello to all my friends and fellow graduates. It's nice to see all of the updates and hear all of the info. about everyones lives! See ya all at the 5 or 10 yr. reunion!!! Maybe by then I'll have something more interesting to talk about besides partying and possibly getting divorced and all that! E-mail me or message me on yahoo messenger sometime!!!

I didn't really talk to many of my fellow classmates in school, but for anyone who remembers me or cares about what I have been doing for the last eight years, here goes........I met a man right after high school that swept me off my feet. I married my husband Bill in December 2001 and when I did that, it made me a step-mother to his seven children. We have one child together, Alec Michael 9-15-2005, and no more kids for me! Of those of you that have step-children, I'm pretty sure I win the award for having the most! I work for the family business-Wills Winery in Lapeer while I am attending college full time. I am scheduled to have my bachelors in Social Work with a minor in Child Development in two years or less. I have lived in North Carolina (loved it) and Georgia (loved it) since graduating. However, about 3.5 years ago we moved back up to be around family. My husband and I own a large house with property in Davison. I look exactly the same as I did eight years ago so, unlike most people, no weight gain to report(I actually lost a couple pounds when I had my son so I'm a few pounds lighter now than when I was in high school-I was thin in school and still am). I do myspace like most everyone else so if you really feel the need to contact me after all these years, I'm there. Is it just me or did a lot of people leave Lapeer in a hurry? Lapeer isn't so bad. It has definitely grown over the years but the crime rate is still really low so I don't see why people think it's that bad.

Getting married May 7th, 2005. I am still working for Flagstar Bank (troy corporate), in Home Lending Development. other than that, nothing much happening... I still live in lapeer, where i bought my house, although it doesnt make much sense, seeing that i drive 80+ miles a day commuting for work... so where i reside may be changing in the next couple of years.

Shane is a computer programmer for Frankenmuth Insurance Company. We just bought a house in December. No kids yet, but we just got an adorable pug, Ruby, who we spoil to death. I'm glad to hear how everyone is doing. The email address on my name link is current, so feel free to drop me a line sometime.

I realized that almost everyone has updated this recently, and I just found it again! So, I always vowed to get out of Lapeer, and after being out of school 3 years, I didn't think I ever would. But for those of you who don't know, and who actually care, I'M OUT! Last June, I moved to Cali. Although it was only supposed to be for the summer, I am still here and loving it. The one thing that I do hate is that I have moved 4 times since I've been here, and will be moving again in April. I wish I could say that I graduated or am on my way to graduation, but being me, I moved out here 1 credit away from graduation. But hey, anyone that knows me, knows the things I'd do for love. Although that's not the reason I stayed, but that's another story all together. I have a great job out here though, my dream job. I'm a preschool teacher at a school called Kindercare. I'm a three's teacher, which I love three year olds, and I love my kids. And all of them want to come back to Michigan with me when I visit. So I'm having a great time out here, of course getting into all sorts of trouble. I don't see moving back anytime in the near future, for those of you that have asked incessantly. But if any of you are ever in the SF area, get ahold of me and I'll show you around.

Hello to everyone who reads these things. I think I hop on this website at least once a year. It's nice to hear that most of you are doing well and that you have not lost your sense of humor upon becoming semi-adults. I'm a one-semester-over senior right now. I'll be graduating from Western with a journalism major and creative writing minor in December. I am currently interning for WMUK radio. It's a NPR (national public radio) affiliate. If anyone wants to you can hear my channel over the internet at www.WMUK.org...or something. It's 102.1 for those of you in the Kalamazoo area. I have recently covered President Bush's visit to West Michigan, State Representative Jack Hoogendyk and his stupid proposal regarding education (if you want to know more research it yourself), and a murder case on Western property. I've learned so much. Tomorrow I'll be covering a Kalamazoo City Commission meeting over an anti-nudity ordinance...wierd. You can usually hear me or my stories around 7:00 a.m. or 5:00/5:30 p.m. I am currently living with my boyfriend, Darren. He's super (thanks for asking). After graduation, I'll probably stick around this area for a year or two in order to save money and then I'm moving out west some where...probably Seattle, or in the area. I've also considered moving to Vancover. I love Canadians. On the other hand of all of the seriousness encompassing my life at the moment I'm still a regular at Bilbo's. I'm still hyper, I still dance my ass off when I get drunk, and I still tell the stories that we all share. I'm looking forward to a class reunion. If Jesse Schlaud reads this...Lapeer Lanes! If any of you are in the Kalamazoo area, look me up. I'm in the kazoo phone book.

I have nothing better to do than visit this page periodically and update it for the enormous amount of readers that visit this site. I still work for Adecco Technical in Troy as a Technical Administrative Assistant. It sounds more fun than it really is...trust me. I pay people, which forces them to be nice to me, and I search the internet for candidates to fill the job openings that we have. You would be amazed at the things people put on their resumes. CJ is 1 1/2 now, and the coolest kid ever (and I'm not just saying that because he's mine). Dennis is opening a mini-branch of Ferguson enterprises around Thanksgiving time. I'm not really looking forward to the move to Metro-Detroit, but at least I won't have to drive from Davison to Troy every day. We would be financially stable too, but I work a block from Somerset Mall and I ruin that for us (kidding). Hope everyone is doing well!

So I got to this page again...It's crazy reading what everyone is doing. I was finally able to move out of the big black hole most call Lapeer. I'm down in Ann Arbor now. Working a lot. And going to school every now and then. New to the area so I don't really know too many people but I go to the bars and meet some here and there. When I make the trip back to Lapeer I'm usually with Amanda or Shannon, were still all together doing our own thing. Not married and no kids, all though at the looks of it a lot of u r married or have kids. I don't see anything thing happening in the near future. I'm going to work as many hours as I can right now, save all the $ and get myself a huge house or somethin, and go from there. send me a line to any of u who want to talk.

Presently I can be found in Traverse City. I have been back up here for the last two years. I am FINALLY going back to school for nursing. No body laugh or be scared, I won't be hurting anyone. I have found the one to spend the rest of my life with. It's been an interesting few years. I will hopefully, so be coming back down to Lapeer to visit. I haven't been back for 2 years. Hopefully I can still find a few of you to see. Anyhow, until the next time. Take care...

I've been living it up in Chicago for a year now. I moved after I graduated from Western in August 2003 with my accountancy degree. I work in a smalller cpa firm in the northern suburbs as an auditor. The city is fabulous, if you haven't visited you should put it on your list of things to do. I've been dating the same guy for almost 4 years...we'll see where that leads.

So the past year living in New Jersey has been quite interesting. Life is a little different here on the East Coast, but exciting at the same time. I am doing well with my career and getting used to the fast paced lifestyle. I was just home over Christmas and hung with a few people from West. If you were there you saw me making it rain and celebrated my birthday. Both equally exciting. Keep in touch and get a hold of me if you are in the New York area. I am getting to know my way around pretty well.

Well, I'm in my last quarter of my second year here studying business management at Ohio Northern University, far away from all you guys. It's pretty nice down here although there are alot of corn fields. At least the weather is usually warmer. I miss all my cronies back home and at WMU and MSU, props to Notre Dame now as well, and all the way out to Hawaii. Hopefully I'll get a whole season of wrestling in next year finally if I stop having all these surgeries on my hands. You guys will be reading about me after I graduate and enter the WWF. I just need to gain alot of weight (200 lbs). I hope that everyone is doing well from the class of 2000 and good luck.

I'm teaching chemistry at Mattawan High School and living in Portage. I'm dating a girl who lives up in Grand Rapids and teaches French at Grand Valley State. While teaching, I try to figure out what to do with the rest of my life, but I'm sure some form of graduate school is in my future.

I had no idea this existed. I was informed by my twin sister/cousin look-alike Debbie Goddard. It is pretty funny reading what you self-centered braggarts have written. Just kidding. Not much to brag about here. Western Michigan University sucks. Who knew? I'm what you call a professional student, years and years of school and no degree in sight. I am leaving in three weeks for Florida. Stress. Stress. Stress. I'm going to International Academy of Design in sunny Tampa. Exciting. Exciting. Exciting. I don't anticipate seeing any of you again, kind of sad, kind of not. Well, unless Debbie can drag me to a God-forsaken class reunion. She is a sentimental sap.

The hawk got my other eye in a fight to decide supremacy of the roost. I survived, which is more than the hawk can say, but is living as a blind man really living at all? I've trained a ferret to peruse the interwebotron for me. I suspect he's been stealing my money and eating my share of the food in our apartment. I'm not so concerned, in all honesty. At least he's not one of those good-for-nothing polecats.

I live out here in San Diego, California in the Clairemont district. I graduated with my degree in Communications from Michigan State University in 2004, and I now I live out here in Dago. I live less than 5 minutes from La Jolla Shores and 8 minutes from Pacific Beach. I am starting my Master's degree in Mission Valley here at San Diego State (Go Aztecs!). Right now, I work full-time for AAFL Enterprises where I'm constantly communicating with USC and UCLA. In my sparetime, I'm either at a dope house party gettin faded down at San Diego State or hanging out in Pacific Beach. I go to a lot of westcoast rap shows and I drive up to Los Angeles to see the Lakers whenever I get a chance with my crew. This memorial day I'm chillin up at Newport Beach at one of my friend's birthday party. I plan on visiting every 3 months Mid-Michigan so if you see your boy holla and show me some love! Good lookin out.

Ahhh... so THIS is where everyone spills what's going on in and outta Lapeer... I spent the last 2.5 years bouncing from Florida (6mo) to Washington DC (20mo) to Texas (I do NOT recommend texas- not exactly the funnest place on earth.. *newsflash* There IS a place more boring with less action than Lapeer!) As of now, I've been in England- the one with the Queen- for 5 months. I just got back from visiting my still very best friend Nikkie Ingersoll in Japan- she's doing great as a stellar sailor (for you military buffs, we both made E5 in may-middle management, hazzah!).... I DO recommend going basically anywhere over the water if you get the chance! Anyway- the Navy has treated me well, I'm almost done being a super international spy (okay, so the job sounded a LOT cooler than it really is- ask Ed or Nikkie, they'll tell ya) and I'm well on my way to a degree in Design... next stop (2005ish) is likely to be Cali where there is a Marine i have on my mind ;) Msg me if ya like, otherwise I'll catch ya'll next time I'm cruisin Meijer at 2:00 am =p

Hey to anyone reading this. I pretty much separated myself from the lovely Lapeer scene when I went to Eastern but now I am back in Lapeer and starting a new job. I graduated from EMU with a Bachelors of Fine Arts and concentrated in Photography. Being poor really bites but, soon that will chage I hope. I don't know who still resides in Lapeer or who migrated back here but, if you want to get a hold of me and hang out just drop me a line. I am currently not with anyone in particular, which is fine with me becase I was with the same guy for almost 6 years, so I am enjoying my singledom. I am glad to hear that everyone is doing so well (sorry about Western Evan:) If I don't hear from ya have a happy life!

Well, if I ever remembered my password I would not have to keep doing this. I am still living in Davison. Tim and I own a house there. My son Miles is now 15 months old, and into everything. I am currently working at my parents store in Hadley. I am attending classes at Mott in Lapeer. It will probably take me ten years to get a degree, but oh well. I am getting married in June of 2004 to Tim Russell. I wish all of you the best!

Well, it's been a while, folks, hasn't it? I highly doubt most of you will remember me, but here goes... After graduation, I moved to Detroit where I lived and worked various jobs (tutor, substitute teacher, small time hustler, waitress, etc. etc.). I also took classes occasionally. I went to Kalamazoo gung-ho thinking I was going to be a writer. I ended up joining a Greek organization (APO) and started hanging out with a bunch of musicians, sauced-up artists, hippies and do-gooders. After going on a summer drunk in Europe, I realized that I was meant to be a doctor. Currently, I'm pursuing the life of a professional student in Kalamazoo (double major, double minor...almost finished?). So now, I can speak a half-dozen languages enough to correct everyone's grammar and spelling mistakes...well, I guess I could kinda do that in high school, too. I work behind a bar while my forebearing and damn sexy fiancee tries to persuade me to move to New Hampshire to live with the rest of the Libertarians. If you were in Kalamazoo about ten years ago (and most of us weren't), you might remember him in eyeliner and leather pants as Precious Ken. He now does something evil and weird in a suit and tie at National City headquarters. Go figure. We have a darling half-Siamese kitten named Kappa and a guinea-pig of a dog that I despise named Bella. That is all we ever plan on having for children. Ever. Ever. Ever. Anyways, I've about had my fill of Michigan and graduate school somewhere where snow does not happen is a lovely thought...but I'll probably just end up pursuing a degree in medical anthropology at Wayne State. Or not. Who knows.

Several weddings, a few babies, a bunch of name changes and college grads....God everyone has been busy. I haven't changed my name, I don't have kids, and even though I graduated from MSU (May 05) I am still careerless. I travelled to Poland (one must see the motherland, right?) and to South Korea to teach English as a Second Language in the past few summers. I enjoy teaching English to high schoolers immensely so I hope to secure a job one day. Oh - I currently live in a small town called Webberville with my parents and younger sister, Marianne. However, I spend most of my time in the East Lansing vicinity. What can I say, it is a fun little town.

Hopefully we can all find jobs. I live in Davison now, not very exciting. I am glad that it sounds like everyone is doing well.

I graduated in May from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelors in finance. In June I moved to Chicago and started working for LaSalle Bank in a commercial lending program. Chicago is pretty sweet. There is always something to do or somewhere to go. Waking up every morning at 6:00 and having to put on a suit has been quite a shock to the system but I.m slowly getting used to it. I.ve been dating the same girl for almost 2 years and things are going good. hope everyone is doing well.

I know this is about to sound strange and out of the ordinary, but I beg of you, just stay with me for a moment. I had a dream a few minutes ago, and it was this dream alone that made me post my thoughts on this site. I dreamed about not fame or fortune like most, but a serine sense of pride that I hope all Lapeer West 2000 graduates strives for. Most of this dream I spent chasseing something (or someone) I don’t know whom or what it was, but it seemed no matter how fast I ran I could never catch it. Then I finally captured it in a dark hazy alley (a dead in if you must.) This creature, this animal, this object, that I had been chasing, began to materialize out of nowhere. It transformed, it metamorphosed, into a blonde, athletic young girl that went by the name of Debbie Cliningsmith, (my neighbor and best friend that most never knew I had) then into her best girl-friend a brunet that latter grew up to go on to Eastern and become a world renowned photographer. Then it changed into a short overweight boy that I used to refer to as Ronnie, that reminded a lot of us of Chris Farely, whom latter went on to serve his country well. It also changed into a nice young man that turns out could not hear out of his right ear, but now can. A middle linebacker that was stationed on the USS Chosin in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and went on to bring peace to the world, another young man that would one day wrestle against Hulk Hogon himself despite some hand surgeries. The point of this story is, we can all chase and dream of the past, but never be able to catch it. But the future on the other hand, (a photographer, world peace, comedy, and hearing) is within our grasps, and is the only thing worth dreaming about. For those of you that wish to chase down the past and dream of future please e-mail lapeerwest2000@yahoo.com Sincerely, Anthony Truman, MBA The Corny Dreamer

I graduated from Central with my Music Education degree in 2005. I now live in Petoskey where I am teaching band in a pretty huge band program (I'm one of 3 directors). I've been dating the same guy for over a year now. I've been doing some running and I've been in some local 5k's (if you guys remember, I wasn't much of a track star, but I've always enjoyed it). I also teach private oboe lessons to some of my students and play in a local orchestra. I don't really talk to many people from high school, except for Lori Kinch and occasionally Lyniece, whom I see at random band director functions. If you want to get in touch with me, my email is cmuoboe@yahoo.com. Best wishes to all of you!!
