Currently I reside in the beautiful city of Provo, Utah with my ever-beautiful wife Sandy (formerly of Sandy Pilly fame in the class of '93, but not yet listed on this site). We were married in June of 97 and lived in Canton, Michigan for two years where I worked as an assistant engineer for a recording studio called Studio A Recording. We moved out to Utah in June of 99. I have started a band with some very creative musicians I met. Our name is "Gift Anon" and we play a mellow but intense mixture of emo-style underground rock. If you like Sunny Day Real Estate, Mineral, or Jimmy Eat World, that's us. :) You can check out our web site with the link below. During the day I do tech support for a software company called Avirt. I love computers (almost as much as music) and will be taking the A+ computer certification tests in January of 2001. I am also studying computer programming. Hmmm... maybe someone should have made me go to college... Later. |

| 1991 | Limer, Jon | 2/20/2001 at 10:35:54 PM | Hello all, Well, life got interesting after Highschool. I started by going to Wayne State in Detroit majoring in Theater. However, it just didn't feel right at the time. SO, silly me, I joined the Air Force. I spent time there as an aerospace propulsion spec. (fancy term for an engine mechanic on Jet type aircraft) I was able to see much of the country (and a little of the world) during my four years. My last base was in Alaska, and from there I moved (following a girl) to Eugene Oregon. Well, despite the demise of the relationship that got me here, it is in Eugene that I currently remain. I went back to college, majored in Journalism. Even won an award from the Oregon Newspaper Assoc. for some columns I had written. Needless to say, I was able to use a spellcheck. *grin* During that time I also got married, and had a child. So, since journalism was fun, but lacking in the financial department, I moved on to a Computer Science major. After only about a term of doing the student thing (12+ credits) and working 3 other jobs to bring in income, I decided to give it all up and dive headfirst into the wonderful world of Technical Support. Essentially I was offered a job that paid more than my other three put together, along with the ability to get some certifications and possibly a degree...so I couldn't pass it up to continue going to school. Well, now (a little over 3 years later) I still work here at Symantec. However I do a different sort of support now. I acuatlly have my very own business cards and everything. They call me a "Sr. Technical Account Manager." Essentially just another phone monkey but with a whole lot more to do, and a penciant for kissing a bit of butt. *grin* I basically support a number of Symantec's larger accounts in the technical capacity. This however, has allowed me to have all the training I've wanted. CNE, CNA, MCSE, CISCO, AS400, not to mention the security and network administration stuff. I love it (minus the viruses and the stress anyway). Well beyond that, I have since had an additional child and kept the same wife. Looking forward to seeing some of you during at least one of the many reunions I'm sure our class will have. Feel free to kick me out an email. |

| 1991 | Prevo, Jamie | 10/7/1999 at 3:49:06 PM | Other than missing all my old school buddies and teachers, I am doing just fine. Sister came to visit me today, Leanne, boy has she came along way. I am so proud of her, if you know her check out her in the '95 Alumni. I have been married for almost 5 years now, no kids. Just bought my home last Oct. 98 in Mt. Morris. Came very close to death last year. Sure made me think of the important things in life, really quick like. Had a bleeding ulcer in my stomach the size of a quarter on a main artery. I did however find out what has been my problem with my weight all these years, I had a bad thyroid, which was barely producing whatever it prodouces. Topped 500pds, not down to 380 and dropping, feeling a lot better. On a bad note though, while in the hospital I slipped into a coma for 4 days, upon waking up I had no use of my right arm, and it was not a stroke. Someone left a rubber band noose, that thing to get your vains to pop up, around my arm and forgot about it, cutting my ulnar nerve. I am managing. Other than that I am doing great. I don't take life for granted no more, never should have! Visit me website design business at http://www.prevo.net |
