| 1987 | Annarelli, John | Aug 11, 2006 at 10:37:20 | After high school, I graduated from The University of Michigan with a BA in Communications & Marketing. I made my way down to Atlanta, Georgia in 1995. For the past 11 years I have worked as an Account Executive in the Exhibit & Point-of-Purchase Industry. Yes, I actually got a job doing what I went to school for! I married a beautiful Southern Belle in June 1998. We currently live in a suburb of Atlanta. Cheryl gave birth to our first child, Alyssa Brooke, on October 8, 1999 which is my birthday, what a great present!! Our second daughter, Sophia Noelle, was born December 18, 2002. Hope everyone else is doing well, if you would like to send me an email please feel free to. |
| 1987 | Bartels, Chuck | 8/1/2003 at 4:36:05 PM | Hello everybody. I figure since I have missed every reunion so far and will probably miss the 20th as well I thought I would drop a line and catch up a bit. I went to Wayne State for a bachelors in Jazz Studies and since then I have stayed in the downtown Detroit area where I play music in various groups for a living. I also teach privately and freelance. If you want to send me an email THAT WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!!!!! I can be reached at brotels@yahoo.com. |
| 1987 | (Allmand)Bird, Melissa | 6/2/2000 at 4:18:03 PM | Hi Everybody! It's been great reading up on everyone's lives. Hopefully more people will sign up. I went to MSU after graduation and have never left the Lansing area. I got a secondary education teaching degree with a major in biology from MSU and taught part-time in the Holt Schools. Since I never got on full-time, I switched careers and ended up an office manager at Deloitte & Touche, a public accounting firm. I enjoyed that so much, I've never gone back to teaching. I married Greg in September of '95 and we had a baby boy, Wesley, in June of '99. I decided to stay home full time with Wes instead of going back to work. I love it so much, although I think it's a lot harder than working 40 hours a week at a 'normal' job! I see Mary Kay (Seelye) Swift quite a bit and our two boys enjoy playing together. Greg and I enjoy camping quite a bit and we play volleyball as often as we can. Gotta try to stay active! We have a house in Eaton Rapids, which is south of Lansing. E-mail: lissamaebird@yahoo.com |
| 1987 | (Street) Bobowski, Gay | Apr 1, 2006 at 11:26:31 | Hello Class of 1987. I graduated from Eastern Michigan Universtiy with a degree in Business Education in December 2005. Finally Did It!!!!! I have been married for 17 years and have 2 wonderful children. Alycia (14) and Andy (11). I am currently subbing in 2 different districts in the area. I have actually had my daughter a couple times. It is weird being in her high school but it is fun too. I am hoping to find a full time job in the fall. Keep your fingers crossed. In my spare time I am usually at a soccer, basketball, or bowling function with the kids. We also spend a lot of time up north near Lewiston riding quads. It is great to have a place up there. My Dad lives there--beats having to buy a place of our own. Hope to see you all at the 20th!!! |

Enjoying the mild climate, the majestic mountains, the awesome ocean splendor, and modern look of Sunny California! But I still miss Michigan as well! Wondering why I was never contacted for a High school reunion :^( But that's okay. Whoever reads this, hopefully you'll look me up sometime! |

I went to cosmotology school after graduation, married Mike and worked at The Ritz for 5 years. After our second child was born I left the "hair biz" and worked part-time in the accounting office at Wal-Mart. Five years ago I gave my life to Jesus Christ and my life has never been better. Mike and I are very involved with our church and we are youth leaders for the 4th through 6th graders. It's awesome! I love working with the younger generation. I would love to hear from any of you! Take care... |
| 1987 | Carr, Terry | 9/27/2001 at 4:00:05 PM | I became even more of a nerd since graduation. But now being a nerd is a good thing. I persued my career as a computer programmer. I worked for the Lapeer County Road Commission in the Engineering Department where I implemented a Geographic Information System. I then moved on to EDS (Electronic Data Systems). If you haven't heard of it, it's the company Ross Perot founded and sold to GM. I worked there for just over 5 years and I recently just quit. I went from a company of over 110,000 people to a company where I am the 4th employee. I get to work at home 4 days a week. My beautiful wife Patricia (Patricia Squire LWHS Alumni also), and my cute son of 5 months old enjoy me being home most of the time.I love to work and play on computers even in my spare time. I still like to play sports like football, tennis and basketball when we get enough people together, but we are all getting a little old. If anyone remembers me and wants to send an email, feel free to do so.Terry Carr |
| 1987 | Carr, Terry | Oct 18, 2008 at 15:11:55 | I am a team leader at Galaxy Plus / Fiserv in Troy, MI. Being a nerd, it is very easy to supervise around twenty programmers. I report directly to VP of our company and hope soon will get his place ;). |
| 1987 | (Etapa) Clarke, Sheri | Dec 12, 2006 at 08:30:01 | Hi, everyone. After high school, I went to MSU and just recently finally left. I graduated with a BS in Zoology and took a full time position as a Clinical Laboratory Spealists in Cytogenetics. Basically, I analyzed chromosomes to diagnose genetic diseases. I was a lab rat for 10 years. In August 2000, I finished my Master's degree in Public Administration (Healthcare Administration emphasis). I then worked as the MSU Department of Surgery's Academic Administrator for the Surgical Residency and Medical Student Clerkship programs. That lead to my current position this past April (2006) at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing. I'm the Administrative Director for Medical Education. Basically, I'm in charge of the daily business of running 20 medical residency programs and medical student clerkships. I married a really great guy, Scott Clarke in 1993(we met at MSU, big surprise). He is an accountant for Sparrow Hospital. We are now working for competing hospitals. We have an extremely intelligent nine year old daughter(Cassandra), born two weeks before our ten year reunion. I don't have a clue where she got the brains. We also have the most adorable three year old boy (Spencer). He is going to out perform us in IQ as well. We are soccer coaches, active in church, and big MSU Baskerball fans...GO GREEN! See you all at the 20th reunion (July 14,2007). (email me at etapa@msu.edu) |
| 1987 | (Reeser)Csapo, Liz | 7/17/2001 at 11:37:48 AM | Hi Ya'll. Greetings from North Carolina. I've been living here for a year now with my husband of 9 years and my 2 kids. After high school I went to MSU and graduated with a BS in Clinical Laboratory Science. I've worked in 3 different hospitals, the last one being McLaren in Flint. Before moving down south we lived in Grand Blanc. I married Greg Csapo (from Grand Blanc - he thought people from Lapeer all lived on farms and had cows). We lived in Davison for a few years and then moved to Grand Blanc. We have 2 beautiful kids. Nicholas is 6 and Alison is 3. We decided to make the move to North Carolina after most of my family had migrated here and absolutely loved it. I have a job with a company called Labcorp in Research Triangle Park and I do lab testing on animal specimens for a PreClinical Trials lab. We love it down here and I don't miss the winters (sorry). I would love to hear from you, but don't expect a quick reply. Being a full-time working mom doesn't leave me with much time to read and write e-mail. Bye for now :) |
| 1987 | (Topolinski)Dercher, Nancy | 11/28/2001 at 9:18:35 PM | Hi everyone! It's nice to see more people have signed up on this lovely website. I went to U of M-Flint for a couple years after West, then transferred to Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids to put some shreds of artistic ability to good use. I graduated from there in 92 with a BFA in Visual Communications (graphic design, etc.). I worked at Gordon Food Service for a couple years where I ran into Darryl White (although I don't know if he's still working there). Then, I met a guy named Dave who was from the Kansas City area. We got married and he moved me here to the Heartland (nice, but not nearly enough snow). We proceeded to have 3 kids. Tiffany is now 5.5, and the good Lord blessed us twice with twins in 1998 (boy and girl, now 3). I have a home-based business doing graphic design and am now buying my husband and kids our second new house! Well, that's it for now. Write if you'd like…I'd like to hear from ANY of you. I remember ALL of you, too. |

| 1987 | Holmes, Paul | 2/10/2004 at 5:09:28 AM | HAPPY 2004 to everyone. For the uninitiated: Working on the NYC film scene. Living in New Jersey with a view of the Empire State Building (Until they put up more ugly Yuppie Warehouses.) Live in a GREAT, mostly Cuban Neightborhood (AMAZING FOOD!) . For the slightly initiated: Narrowly missed working Times Square for New Years, but that meant that I got to ring in the New Year with some friends in a much more relaxed atmosphere. Spent most of the next day nursing my gf's hangover, and entertaining. I am trying to come up with some different vacation ideas, if you went (or live) any place that is even remedially interesting, lemme know at pizzamonkey63@hotmail.com. The leading contender is teaching English in Cambodia for 3 months next winter, but I am looking for something before then, that is less.... well LESS! ANYWAY enough jibbering. Hope everyone has a great year. Contact me if you feel like it, or are arranging to be in New York. I have been told that I give great tour (as awkward as that is to admit). More to come later. |

About a month ago I had a MI and now have yet another implant (a stainless steel pipe inside my right coronary artery) to go with my artifical left knee, and implanted right thumb. The 20" Pithons are not quite that any more, but God has given me yet one more chance at life and for whatever reason, know that the greatest "job" I ever had was being a part of your lives and Lapeer West Senior H.S. |
| 1987 | Moore, Cheryl | Jul 2, 2008 at 17:25:28 | Hey everyone! Just checking in - have not emailed or talked with hardly anyone recently. So the 20 year reunion was really fun - and I must say us Hadley Hillbillies dominated! To those of you I got the chance to speak with, it was great to do so. To those of you that I DID not get the chance to speak with, I am disappointed, and it is totally my bad. Too much to drink too fast and I barely got the rounds made. Next event I will behave MUCH better. I think. To those of you that did not attend, PLEASE conside coming if we have a 25 year, and if not, the 30. Time is running faster and faster these days so take the time to get together once in a while and cut loose for a few. Me, I am great, job is hectic, life is good. My beau Mike has four great yet extremely YOUNG kids - 7, 6, 5 and 3. OHMYGAWD do they keep us busy. They are very sweet, smart and fun and it is a pleasure to have them in my home. Trying to get a garage built on top of all of that commotion; if anyone out there is a licensed contractor and would like to give me a bid, now is the time. We have a very pretty 79 Firebird that needs a garage around it really big time! I guess that is all for now. If anyone would like to contact me, please do so any time! Take it easy. |

| 1987 | (Beard)Ritch, Kelly | 7/11/2000 at 10:34:17 PM | This is a great way to keep in touch. I was searching for some old friends, and was rather dissapointed not to see more of you on here. As I was beginning to leave, I decided that if I was ever to hear from any of you I had better leave a little something behind. After graduation, I stayed pretty close to home.
