| 1982 | Allen, Pudge | Dec 2, 2005 at 07:36:26 | WOW people i was just surfing and came across this page how cool.Since being relased from LW i have been working in the building trades as a electrian,and super for a local builder.I have stayed around this area since getting out as you all can remenber i liked to drink party and have fun,well can i say i fought the law and the law won.In 1992 i married my wife karen we have two girls alyson 8, bailey 4,they all have changed my life in one way or another. I no longer drink and in 2002 my life realy changed when i asked the lord to come into my life.My life has not been better,my wife and i have opened a P.T clinic north of lapeer and are doing well.I would like to tell anyone out there that i hurt or mistreated in any way that iam very sorry.Well thats my life in a short a i hope to be hearing from the class of 82. I married Michael Barger in 1986, we have three wonderful boys: Steve born 1988, Phil born 1989, and Doug born 1992. I currently work at the State Bar of Michigan as their Webmaster.I enjoy hearing stories, from my sister-in-law Kim Kent who is teaching at Lapeer West, about our old teachers. It's amazing how may of them are still there....doing the same things! Kim took Don Peterson's old job teaching science, she even has his classroom. |

One fine day as I was taking out the garbage, I realized that I wanted to have the opportunity to do something better with my life. With Determination in hand, I attended Mott Community college for 2 years and finished my B.F.A. at The Center for Creative Studies in Detroit in 1988. I worked for an ad agency for 6 years, finding that I liked to draw and paint more than create logos and brochures. So I moved on. I wound up drawing techincal illustrations for Jeep and Dodge. So after 3 years working as a contractor I was hired in direct at DaimlerChrysler. Since then its been nothing but "Great" and a lot of fun. OH--Let's not forget the wife, Dawn!. My best friend, love of my life and Soul mate, we met in '85, got married in Vegas in '97. We Continue to travel to the Caribbien, Mexico, and Hawaii every vacation we get. No kids yet. Maybe the Future! So Hang Loose. I would love to hear from everyone. |

I'm still active in horses and show horses with my mother who still lives in Metamora. In my off time I work with placing rescue dogs with new owners and spend alot of time on the computer. I have two boys from a previous marriage that are now 13 and 14 years old and live in Indiana. |

We recently returned to Rhode Island after living in the Chicago area for a brief time. We are happy to be back in the East which feels most like "home". I am currently busy preparing for the holidays, and keeping up with my two children, Lauren (age 7) and Brandon (age 3), and developing an interior decorating business. This is a busy time of year as a portion of my business revolves around decorating for the holiday season. As crazy as it gets around here, I still have found time to become computer literate before the turn of the century. I would love to hear from old friends and classmates. (Better run this through "spellcheck" in case Mrs. King is looking in...My typing skills are not much better than they were in the tenth grade)! |

I have been in Ohio ever since joining the U.S. Air Force in 1982, except for the 1 year trip to Korea. I spent 10 years in the Air Force and 6 years in the Ohio Air National Guard. I have 19 years of Army service, 4 active and 15 reserve. I am married to a wonderful woman named Josefina whom I met while conducting refugee relief in the Philippines after Mt. Pinotubo erupted. My major is Criminal Justice and Masters in Human Behavior. I have served in the Gulf War and Kosovo campaine. What more can I say but, I don't come back to Lapeer ever. When my 3years were up I went to Mott College and received my Associate in Applied Science degree in Registered Nursing. I have not been married as of yet and I currently have no kids and I still live in the Lapeer area. |

I purchased a Gift and Flower Shop Called Creations in Imlay City 2 years ago sales are up 150% since I took over in '98 things are looking good I'm looking forward to mountain biking again as soon as the snow clears. |

Married now and living in Reading PA. wonderful wife Bonnie and three great kids, Tarynn (14), Kylar (5) and Konnar (4). The kids take up most of my time with the exception of playing Ice Hockey 1-3 times and week and mountian biking when ever I get the chance. Got a BA at MSU in International Relations and Spanish. Got an MBA from U of M. Just bought 10.27 acres in the country and plan to build a house in the next year. I was a military police officer for 3 years (really :o) ) and then joined the Michigan State Police where I have been since 1987. Yep, getting ready to retire in a few years. I am divorced with no children, still planning to have one though. I just transferred to the Rockford Post from the Newaygo Post, and have also served at the Caro and Reed City Posts over the years. I go ATV'ing and golfing, have two cats and live in the Sand Lake area. Take Care ALL! |

| 1982 | (aka Piechowski)Stroh, Tony | 2/11/2001 at 5:48:04 PM | Since graduating from west, attended Oakland University from 1982-1986 studing Commercial Music, live stage and studio. after college toured with Mainstreet USA for three years as singer/dancer.Have lived in Lansing, Metro-Detroit, Tucson, Allentown, back to Metro-Detroit, Pompano Beach, back to Metro-Detroit,Fish Creek Wisconsin, back to Tucson, Santa Fe New Mexico and now bounce between Metro Detroit and Tucson AZ. My friends now write my address in pencil for quick changes to the address book. All totaling I have moved approx. 34 times since college. YIKES! Have been working in both the entertainment and food service industries. Currently working for a restaurant company in Birmingham and for Meadow Brook Theatre as Assistant Managing Director, negotiating contracts for the actors union and guest artists. Receipient of American College Theatre, Kennedy Center Award in 1993 for production of "Cloud Nine" chosen as one of the top five production in America from a college/university.Recently returned from Italy where I spent time learning the process of wine making and trying to wrap my tounge around that language to no such luck! No spouse, no kids, no pets, just good friends, good food and good travels. Hope this finds all of you well. Is there something being planned for our, shall i say it?, 20 year reunion? I got married in '88, moved to CA in '90 and now I have three boys 2 1/2, 4 1/2, and 6 1/2. Currently living in Redwood City, CA as a stay-at-home-soccer Mom. I do home health PT on and off and am starting a Creative Memories business while I wait for all of the kids to get into school and I can use my brain for things other than sibling mediation and potty training! My current preoccupations (other than family) are photography and kickbox aerobics. I hope my classmates are finding happiness. |

I have gotten two associate degrees and two bacholer degrees while touring the southwest side of Michigan. I have done my stints as Computer technician at Electronic Data Systems through the "Millenium" on nationwide GM technical support. Worked as a Maintenance technician (a phone company answer person) while SBC procured Ameritech (Ameritech sold off all of its liquidifiable assets showing huge profits so as to sell to SBC.) My life the wonder that it is, is now delimited by my health. Five back-surgeries, four levels fused, and I am at best a stay at home daycare for my son. Got to love that though, most people don't get that chance in life. |
