My sister was the person who taught me to smoke (shame on her- I quit in 1984), taught me to laugh and in her death taught me not to wait, because that day may never come. Sharon would be so proud of her children, and she would have loved to be there for her grand-daughter's birth. Even after 12 years, not too many days that go by that I don't think of her. I love you sis. |

Have lived and worked in Lapeer since graduation from Lapeer "Senior" High School in '71. I have both a BFA and an MFA in painting from Michigan State University and still do artwork, as well as write. You can go to Amazon and buy a copy of my book "Dog Shows Then and Now: An Annotated Anthology" (I'll autograph it for you at the 40th Reunion!) I worked in New York City for six years creating educational programs for dog show judges at the American Kennel Club. I judge dog shows and have bred and exhibited English bulldogs since 1975. Just for the heck of it, I also earned a JD in International Law from Thomas M. Cooley Law School a few years ago. It is sad to read some of the updates and learn that classmates have died. I still picture everyone in my mind the way they looked in school. I probably won't recognize any of you at the 40th reunion but you'll all be able to pick me out in the crowd - I still limp! |

Marriages (2), Kids 3+3.: Ages; 26, 24, 19, 19, 17, 9. My current wife of 5 years and her 3 kids are Tibetan, previously living in Nepal. I have many fond memories of Lapeer and I try to stop in about every 5 years or so. Maybe I'll see some of you at the big 40th reunion. |

Our daughter and son-in-law are both teachers. Two of our triplet sons travel full time with rock bands, one is in graduate school preparing to teach college religion and philosophy. Mary and I were in ministry 33 years; I retired from my last pastorate in 2004. Mary teaches 7th grade Science in North Branch, MI. In 2005 I went back to school and obtained a teaching certificate. We live in Cass City, but continue to work in Lapeer County. Our greatest joy is spending time with our family, especially those two grandsons. |
