I am now a housewife that enjoys doing volunteer work. |

Married Peg (1987-Current); two kids (Saralynn-19 & Bryan-Patric 17). In school for 50 of my 55 years, now working on Master's #5-Geriatric Health Administration #4-Health Administration #3- Public Health; #2 Master in Business Administration/Health Care Management; #1 Master in Education and have completed a degree in Criminal Justice. Presently working as Director of Quality & Community Programs for the Department of Medical Education at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc but continuing to reside in Lapeer. I provide direct care at two school-based clinics (Bendle H.S.and Waterford Teen Health Center) and manage the Quality Improvement projects within the Department of Medical Education and teach Adolescent Medicine. I teach in the MSU College of Human Medicine & College of Osteopathic Medicine the Adolescent Health curriculum. I am Medical Director of the Lapeer, Tuscola and Huron County Health Departments and the Genesee Intermediate School District School Health Program. My wife has sat on the Lapeer School Board for the past 12 years and teaches Nursing at Mott Community College. Saralynn plays soccer year round at Grand Valley and is pursuing a career in journalism while Bryan is looking toward graduation and a college career in theoretical mathematics and I spend a lot of time on the road. |

At the moment I don't have time to write an essay on my days at LHS, but I'm sure looking forward to seeing everyone at the 30th class reunion and seeing how the Boone's Farm gang has held up. |

Jill is 24 and married living near Coldwater with her husband Dan who is a youth pastor and their son Micah (yes, I am a Grandma) and there is another one on the way (due Aug. 2). Steve is 14 and will be in 9th grade at East in the fall. I graduated a LONG time ago from C.M.U. with a degree in secondary education- Music and Recreation. I have given piano lessons for over 20 years and I teach eight aerobic classes a week at the community center. Jim and I are very active at the Trinity United Methodist church in Lapeer. I have only been away from Lapeer for the years that I was in college and three years that I worked and lived in Port Huron. There sure aren't many from our class that still live here! Guess that is all for now. I would love to hear from you. |

Dave is a manager at David Brown Union Pumps Company and I work for the State of Michigan, Family Independence Agency as a supervisor. |

FMG is a broadcast oriented advertising agency and specializes in all forms of electronic production... TV, Radio, Video, Original Music, Digital CD-ROM. My lovely, supportive wife, Kate (Kathy Karlek) and I began the agency in 1988, following my broadcast career in both radio and TV.We've been involved in helping direct the advertising and marketing for dozens of businesses from Michigan to Atlanta.Various special projects and a television promotion/contest I created (patent pending) has us doing a bit of work with Warner Brothers these last couple years. When not mixing it up in the advertising/marketing arena, tennis has become my fit-for-life passion... that and wrestling with our thirteen year old, DJ, who thinks any day now he'll be able to kick my butt. We have two kids -- Meagan (22), soon to be a college graduate, and DJ (13), who plans to buy the house across the street and work with his dad and me. |

| 1970 | haynes, rick | Aug 3, 2007 at 07:34:09 | married twice, two great kids, three grandkids, one adopted grandchild. was a tank commander in the army, and did three years in the army. drove tractor trailer for about 6 years. owned my own custom paint shop in grand blanc. rode motorcycles across the country. moved to las vegas, and was supervisor of maintenance at a apartment complex. then moved to laughlin to run the maintenance dept at a large apartment complex. became a minister on a paddlewheel boat, became a gourmet chef on another tour boat, then became the yard foreman at ace hardware lumber division. i drive a forklift, and have several employee's working for me, i fish the colorado river every week. we live an hour from hoover dam. very nice weather. i am remarried to a great gal from texas suzie, she keeps me from getting a big head, and out of trouble, which i can easily find. |

I married Matt in 1989. I met Matt in Oscoda when working at Towne and Country Furniture as a bookkeeper. Matt was a B-52 Gunner at Wurtsmith Air Force Base. Our son Matthew, age 15, was born at Castle Air Force Base, California. In 1993 Matt changed job roles and we were stationed at Patrick AFB, Cocoa Beach, Florida in support of the Space Shuttle Rescue. Matt was a Flight Engineer on the H-53 and H-60 helicopters. I became a stay at home Mom and a school volunteer for 10 years. Matt retired and we moved to Portland, Oregon in 1999. Since our class reunion in 2000 I've been working at Nike World Head Quarters in Beaverton, Oregon as an Accounts Payable Specialist. Life is good! |

I have worked for Delphi (formerly AC Spark Plug)since 1985 in Product engineering. I married Carolyn Pierce (class of 69) on August 24, 1974. We have 3 daughters. Carolyn worked in the banking industry until the girls were born and went back to work for Lapeer schools in 2000. Carolyn was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer December 1st 2006 and passed away October 11, 2007. |
