I was a trainer for our agency when we implemented our new computerized case management system in 1999 and now am a computer tech for our district office, I've been responsible for mentoring new counselors when they come onto our staff. Married since 1977 to Pete, an Electrician, we have 2 children, Sara who is attending EMU and majoring in Dietetics, and Sean who attends Schoolcraft College and plans to transfer to EMU soon. Mom is living in Greenville, Michigan in an area with lots of relatives for support. She is living independently in a brand new house and would love to hear from old friends and students. Our 3 children have made us the Grandparents of 5 (so far)- I work with developmentally disabled adults to help them find and keep competitive employment. I still love to draw and paint. I hope you will visit my Halloween website. Vancouver/Whistler has recently been awarded the 2010 Winter Olympics. For anyone planning to attend our festivities, feel free to drop us a line. I was also involved in the development and administration of several medical outpatient facilities. I got an MBA from Duke in the mid 90s for fun. I retired in 1997. Presently spending most of each year doing volunteer medical missions in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Central America & South America. I also am the CEO of the Pan African Academy of Christian Surgeons - teaching African physicians to be surgeons utilizing mission hospitals. During the fall semester, I teach anatomy and physiology at a PA program. I have four children now (including a 6 year old at the time of this writing) but no grand-children. I have lowered my standard of living but markedly improved my quality of living -- a good choice for me. |
