About West:

West is a place where student talents, coupled with high expectations and support from staff, have an opportunity to SHINE! There are no cracks to fall through at West High.

Major Influence:

Mr. George Boursaw, my high school math teacher. He challenged me to challenge myself and refused to let me take an easy path. Although I didn't like it at the time, I am respectful and thankful for it now.

Advice to students:

While in Ireland this summer, people would say to me "are people here treating you well". The Irish take great pride in helping others. I would challenge and expect all West students to make sure that any visitor to West is treated well and feels comfortable here as well.
